Gumbira: That's good! Who are your biggest influences?
@hanidiva: Woah! i hv a lot of comedians that i respect greatly Yahya Sulong, Nabil and Johan Raja Lawak, Russell Peters, Seinfeld, abang @KhairudinSam pun i look up to. Tapi for MLM i feel its best to not be influenced but me myself.
Gumbira: LOL! Great list! Finally, how has Singapore Malay comedy faired with audiences based on our pop culture history?
@hanidiva: S'poreans LOVE to laugh! Comedy definitely has a great place here with our audiences BUT in his era, we lack good comedians so we tend to reach out for laughs. having said that, when our own comedians strut their stuff, we strut it GOOD! hahaha
